What Your Barber Wishes You Knew Before Your Appointment
Most people walk into a barbershop and say "just clean it up." That works — but you'll get a better cut, every time, with a few small things on your end. Here's what actually helps us give you exactly what you want.
Bring a photo if you have one. Haircut names mean different things to different people. One guy's "low fade" is another guy's "taper." A photo removes all doubt in five seconds. Screenshot works fine.
Come with your hair how you normally wear it. Don't slick it down or hide it under a hat before you sit. We need to see how your hair actually falls, where your growth pattern pushes, and how you style it day to day — that's what we cut for.
Tell us how much time you spend on it. Two minutes or twenty? That changes the cut completely. A style that needs product and a blow dryer is a bad recommendation for a guy who's out the door in five minutes.
